Way back in January I was in Boots in Durham with my Mum and we were in there for ages. No joke. I have wanted Marc Jacobs Daisy for 2 Christmas' now and I finially decided to buy it when the lady said 'have you smelt Yardley Royal English Daisy before' Of course I hadn't. So off she went with two of the tester bits of paper. When she came back gave me a smell test. Which one was Marc Jacobs and Yardley. I honestly couldn't tell the difference they smelt the same. When she got both the bottles and sprayed one of each I was amazed at how there was hardly a differenced so I purchased. Granted the bottle isn't as pretty as Marc Jacobs but I'll keep the £35 in my pocket and wait another year till Christmas comes and I'll put it on my list again. Yardley cost £9.99 and Marc Jacobs was £45. A saving of £35.01.
Next time you're in Boots have a whiff and see if you can tell the difference.

Mac Haul
I love mac. I mean what's not to love. The packaging, the product and of course finishing 6 products you get a free lippy. So when my parents told me they were off to the Caribbean I gave my Mum some money and a list of the 'cheaper' mac I wanted her to pick up for me.
I asked for, 217 brush, 239 brush, Vegas volt, shy girl, creme cup lipsticks, handwritten, Charcoal brown, contrast and Electra eye shadow. And yes she came through and yes I am in love.

Top brush is the 217 and the bottom is the 239. Top right eye shadow is Electra left is Charcoal brown bottom right is Contrast and left is handwritten.
Swatches are Handwritten, Charcoal brown, Contrast and Electra.
From left is Creme cup, Shy girl and Vegas Volt.
Thank you Mum you are a super star for picking these up for me. I wore Shy girl today at work and I have to say it may just be my favourite every day shade. What is your favourite every day shade?

March Favourites
I've hated this month. It's been really bad work month for me and I'm not going to lie I'm glad it's coming to an end. My parents have also been away for 3 weeks and I've missed them loads. I've also felt complete pennyless this month. I'll be glad when pay day comes. Also what's even more annoying that I wrote this post out last night before I went to the gym and when I came home to read through and do a spell and grammar check I realised it didn't save! But here I go again.
Laura Mercier silk creme foundation I use the shade Cashew Beige. I used to use this foundation all the time in 2009/2010 I guess I just forgot all about it while I was trying out others. As you can see this bottle is almost empty I actually bought a back up in February so I'm good to go when this one runs out. The foundation is the best match for my skin that I can find and I really love the look it leaves.
Dr Lipp original nipple balm for lips. This was an impulse buy. I was in Newcastle on the way to the match I was going out for dinner after as well as going to see The Script and of course I left my lip balm at home. I ran into Space NK and this was the closet thing to the till so I picked it up. Honestly it's amazing. My lips were so dry and within 3 days they were left super soft again. It has the same texture as Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream but I think this is much better. I like to use it on a night to really let it soak in.
The body shop Tea Tree pore minimiser. I picked it up in December and its been a firm staple in my daily make up routine. I use this as a primer but I really think it helps with spots too. My make up last longer though out the day too and it's under £10...bargain!!
The body shop Absinthe Purifying hand cream. I got this when it was on promotion for £5 in January I seriously wish I picked a back up too. I love to use this on a night before bed to really let it soak into my hands. It also smells amazing!!
Have you tried any of these products??

The best lipstick....EVER
I know that the title of this post is a very big statement especially as I am a major lover of mac lipsticks. But seriously. Sometimes when I'm at home alone I try this lipstick on just cos I love it SO much. Sad I know but it's true. I am of course talking about Mac Rebel. I saw this on quiet a few blogs and I thought I'm just going to have to try it. So one snowy cold morning in December I logged onto Debenhams website and to my delight they had 10% off. So I paid £12.60 and got free delivery. This is a bold move for me as usually I would never buy anything without swatching it. The delivery only took 2 days which I was really impressed with as it was free. It of course came in the standard mac packaging which of course I love and I couldn't wait to swatch it. As I was at work I did it on my hand and oh my god. I was shocked. At first I thought I am never actually going to wear this. However when I went home I tired it straight on my lips and I fell in love and I've never actually looked back. It's a beautiful dark plum. I wore it on my Christmas night out with my friends and it lasted all night. I did still apply it as that's just the kind of girl I am. Have you tried Rebel? How did you first find it? (Please excuse the photo of me. It was one of those. 'We took pictures last night?' moments when I saw it)

Top 12 beauty products of 2012
It feels like forever I haven't blogged. I've been so busy with work....house work and a social life that I feel like I've forgotten my secret love of blogging. Well I'm back and feel like I have a million things to tell you.
I thought a good way to break it back in is my top 12 of 2012. It should of been top 10 but I just couldn't pick so I made a decisions to increase the number to 12.
2012 what a year. I feel like I've blinked and I've missed it. It was my first full year in my house which I totally have loved. It still feels mad that I live here but I've got used to saying home is my new house and not my actual parents home. I went from being 21 to 22 and generally had an amazing time.
On to my beauty products....
In no particular order,
Clarasonic Mia
HOW someone please tell me WHY I waited till September to put my hand in my pocket and buy this? It is my favourite part of my skincare routine and my skin doesn't feel clean unless I have used this.
Urban Decay All nighter
This literally keeps my make up stay put all day. I use it every day now and couldn't imagine my make up routine without it now.
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation (pebble)
This is a rediscovery, whilst on holiday I had misplaced my MAC studio fix foundation and I ran to the shop on board the ship (I was on a cruise) and the lady recommended me this one I hadn't used it in a long time so thought why not. Then I found my MAC foundation in my bag. This is actually my second bottle and I just find this foundation makes my skin look healthy and natural.
OPI Nail Envy
This is so versatile. I use it as a base coat, a top coat and a nail treatment. My nails know when I haven't used it in a while.
OPI My Private Jet
I 100% have Catrine from Unnaked Nails to thank for this one. This has been my 'go to' colour. If I don't know what colour to paint my nails. This is what I go for.
Garnier Body moisturiser
All summer all autumn and all winter this has been amazing it has kept my skin so soft.
OPI Hight intensity hand and nail cream
Soft and silky and this is how it leaves my hands.
L'oreal self tanning mist
The lazy girls tan is the best way to describe this. When I just can't be bothered to whip out the latex gloves (to apply my lotion tan) I just spray this all over my body and it really is the best lazy tan result no streaks and it's all even.
MAC blusher Plum foolery
This has been in my life for over 5 years. Yes that is the long relationship I have ever had with anything EVER. But it is my all time favourite colour.
MAC pro sculpt in Pure Sculpture and Accentuate
As you can see I've hit the pan and I haven't got a back up. I love sculpting my face and trying to look like Kim K but it never works. If anyone knows of anything similar please let me know I need to have something similar to this is my life.
What are your favourites of last year?

Last Friday night
So last Friday I headed into town for a few drinks and a meal. Well the few drinks actually turned into me being out all night and having a horrendous hangover on Saturday. I thought I'd show you what I wore. Sorry for the funny faces. I went curly wurly with my hair and tried to keep my make up light as I really didn't have much intention of going out.
My top is river island and skirt is topshop. I hope you like my outfit.
